BECKY TAYLOR'S SUPPLY LIST

Students: If you already have materials, please do not go out and buy more. Use what you have and are comfortable with and if you find you like what I am using, then buy!

The list below is what I will use in the workshop:

BRUSHES: I use mostly flats-1/2", 1" and 1 1/2" Winsor Newton and a 2" Robert Simmons Skyflow. Also, one old brush for using maskoid size 3.

PAINTS: I use mostly Winsor Newton Professional grade. I also use Schmidke (German) and Sennelier Aquarelle (French). If you are happy with others, stay with them. If you are buying new and can afford it, buy professional grades and stay away from student grades. They do not have enough pigment in them.

COLORS: Winsor Red, Cadmium Scarlet, Alizarin Crimson, Cadmium Yellow, Bismuth or Winsor Yellow, Raw Sienna, Payne's Gray, Cobalt Blue, French Ultramarine Blue, Cerelean Blue, Antwerp Blue, Brown Madder, Burnt Sienna, and Sepia.

OTHER MATERIALS: Pebeo (Maskoid) and rubber cement pickup eraser. I use a Frank Webb palette, Windex Spray Bottle filled with water (index finger pump action type is the best but hard to find), H Pencil, kneaded erasers (no gum or rubber erasers) one large water container, salt and kleenex (no lanolin).

PAPER: I use Winsor Newton #140 and #300. Kilamanjaro and Fabriano are good too. All are very white which I like.

I buy most of my materials from Cheap Joe's, www.cheapjoes.com and have found he has the best prices and stands behind his products. Dick Blick, Michael's, Hobby Lobby, etc also have art supplies.

Bring an open mind and a great imagination!!!! ART IS FOREVER!!!
